The Power of Crystals

I guess I can say that crystals have been apart of my life since I could remember. Except the way that I interact with them now is different than how I interacted with them when I was younger. My mom is a gemologist who imports and exports gem stones to jewelry companies in United States and internationally, and when I was younger I used to get jewelry with semi precious stones very often. I was always known for having beautiful jewelry with blue topazes, sapphires, emeralds, citrines, etc. Back then I wore different gem stones based off of my outfits or how I was feeling that day. I loved the way they shimmered when the light hit them and how vibrant they looked when I wore a certain color that made the stones pop.

Today I still have jewelry with semi precious stones, however, I became more interested in the nature of these stones. I am now more interested in natural crystals and have a serious rock collection that I have created over the years. These rocks are used in my day to day life, whether its me being out in public places or me working on a client of mine. I believe that these crystal energies are no different than us. So this is my theory on it all, every single individual was created at a certain time, on a certain day, in a certain year, in a certain city or town, in a certain country, while certain planets and constellations were out in our solar system. Which means that every person that is created radiates a unique and different energy specific to them and are attracted to energies specific to theirs. Same concept for crystals. Each crystal was created in a certain region, in a certain era and time, underneath the planets and constellations that were out in the solar system at that time. Which means that each stone radiates a different unique energy. Since matter is energy and human beings and crystals are made of matter than theoretically the specific energies radiating from certain crystals could create an attraction within us due to the specifics of their formation. Crazy, right?! Have you ever seen a crystal and felt so drawn to it? Like it caught your eye and you needed to pick it up and hold it. Its because your energy field, more specifically your aura, needed that crystals energy to help you in whatever healing that your body needed at that time.

I’ll tell you a brief story of an experience I had this past summer when I went to my first ayahuasca ceremony. It was mid ceremony and they asked us if we waned to go up for a second cup so I went up drank the cup and went back to my mat. Within maybe 10 minutes I was back in my own Aya trip and for a good 30-40 minutes (give or take) I was in another universe. My body couldn’t stop moving and one of my friends ,who did it with me for the first time as well, saw my process and came over to help me. She sprayed me with florida water and dropped a blue crystal near my foot which I didn’t know until after the ceremony. Right after she left, I ended up on someone else’s mat and one of my friends who was helping out in the ceremony came over to me, saw the crystal near my foot put it in my hand and instantly I came back to myself. The crystal had grounded me so much that I was no longer flying in the esoteric field, I was back to earth, still feeling everything but back. I held on to that rock the rest of the night, it was as if it was glued to my hand. Once the ayahuasca feeling died down, I was in awe by the stone. I kept looking at it trying to figure out what it was. I knew it was some kind of lapis but wasn’t sure what. I then found out that is was Lapis Lazuli which is a healing stone for Sagittarius’s (which if you don’t know, I am a Sagittarius) Im not saying that the stone saved me, because eventually I would of came back to earth, but it helped me when I needed it most.

I use crystals in many different ways. When I am surrounded by large groups of people I have selenite in my hand at all times. I am a sponge for energy and what selenite does is it keeps me in the light. It keeps me pure, positive, and emits such a high vibration which prevents unwanted energies from attaching to my energy field. When I work with people, I channel my clients higher self and create crystal grids for their protection and my protection. When I am manifesting, I call on the energies of the crystals to give me strength in whatever I want accomplished. You can even take baths with crystals and create crystal elixirs, just make sure that they can sustain water because some dont. They are such an easy an harmless alternative way to help with our physical and emotional states of well being. You can use certain colored crystals to help with a specific chakra. For example, Lapis is blue and so is the throat chakra, it is a crystal that actually helps with the throat chakra for a Sagittarius . I recently created a beautiful feather fan for myself to be used for ceremonies and sessions and for at least a week I was trying to find the right stone to put on my feather fan. I said to myself, “With all of the stones I have there has to be one I can use” and low and behold I found this beautiful medium size jagged citrine rock that was perfect! Now if your into crystals, you know that citrine brings in wealth and new beginnings but did you know that Citrine does not hold or accumulate negative energy? It actually transmutes, dissipates, and grounds it, making it extremely protective for the environment. It is one of only two crystals on Earth that never needs to be cleared or cleansed. See, I didn’t know this until after I chose the stone and coiled it with wire on my fan but it made so much sense why I was so drawn to its energy.

I know that for some people who are not in-tuned spiritually this could sound absurd but ask yourself this, why would mother earth create these crystals in the first place? I am sure they were not created so that we can refine and polish them in a factory and put them in jewelry settings.
